Now in their 23rd year, the Hotel & Catering Review Gold Medal Awards recognise and reward excellence

across the broad spectrum of the Irish hotel and catering industry and we are delighted to honour the 82

exceptional businesses which have been shortlisted as finalists in this years Awards programme.

During the four-month process adjudicating for this years Awards the members of the Gold Medal Awards

Jury travelled close to 18,000 kilometres across the length and breadth of Ireland, visiting hundreds of

businesses in preparation for tonights very special awards ceremony.

Our finalists presence here this evening, therefore, is testament to the excellence of their product and service,

and the hard work and dedication of their team. Congratulations to each and every one of you.

The winners of the 15 Gold Medal Awards categories will be announced following dinner this evening and from

these, one outstanding winner will be presented with the industrys highest accolade, the supreme

Hotel & Catering Review Gold Medal Award for Excellence 2011.
