Sarah is busy dying, counting down her heartbeats. She is studying maps of places she never intends to go. John is grabbing life by the proverbial balls – driven to travel by the need to be someone interesting. Both are looking for a future when they meet each other.

Through song, string and a bright red anorak, this is a show that asks if we’ll know happiness when we get there.

SHOW PROFILECartography is particularly suitable for festivals and small scale touring, with the set fitting comfortably in the back of a car. Suitable for audiences who enjoy contemporary storytelling, contemporary theatre, folk storytelling, original song, love, travel and maps! The show is funny and engaging and will appeal to those who enjoy the work of companies such as Little Bulb and Bucket Club. Recommended for ages 14 and up.Duration 50 minutes.Company size 4 Performers and 1 Stage Manager/Technician.Tour Period Autumn 2016 & Spring 2017.Fee negotiated on request.Minimum Performance Area 4 x 4 meters.Get In 2 hours.
