Authentic Self- Confidence It has been my experience that, no matter who we are, how comfortable we are with ourselves, or how many accomplishments we have, everyone gets intimidated by other people at some point in their life. The feeling may present itself before a big game, pitching a monster client, or giving your kids “the talk”. Whatever the case may be, we need to approach each situation with authentic self-confidence, a genuine sense of our true selves. Nothing steals our authenticity quicker than FEAR. That feeling in your gut that is telling you that you’re not good enough. Fear lulls us into a false sense of insecurity. It takes us away from who we were designed to be. We end up feeling threatened, overwhelmed, inadequate, simply OFF OUR GAME. We act and react in ways that are not reflective of who we are. When this happens, we begin to fake it. That might work at first but as we become more and more impatient and anxious, our authenticity slips away. The problem then becomes transparency. You suddenly went from being a mystery to handing the other team your playbook. But no matter how deep the hole has gotten or how painful the losses have become, you must always keep your dreams alive.

Authentic Self-Confidence

It has been my experience that, no matter who we are, how comfortable we are with ourselves, or how many accomplishments we have, everyone gets intimidated by other people at some point in their life.

Too often the problem is that we remember all the stuff we can’t do. It is much easier to live a life knowing exactly what you can do, what you were designed to do. That doesn’t mean this is an easy thing to recognize.

The obstacles standing between what you can and can’t do will always be there. You just need to remember that they are TEMPORARY, as are your excuses. This is how dreams get started.

Dreams begin with a knowledge of your true self. They begin with a desire to understand who you are and why you were created. They begin when you dedicate your life and your passions to understanding this mystery of why we are here. Dreams become obtainable and real when we develop an authentic self-confidence.

This is my hope for you, that your experiences tell you what to do and your confidence will allow you to do it. If you believe that ___________ is managing all your affairs, and believe everything will work out for the best...What else is there to worry about?
