CIRCULAR Nº 5 CATÁLOGO DE EXPOSITORES ESPAÑOLES

Estimado participante:

Adjunto encontrará el catálogo de expositores españoles en su versión

impresa, del que hemos editado 300 ejemplares en tamaño 150 x 150 mm cerrado,

que será distribuido en el recinto ferial.

Igualmente, se ha realizado un catálogo electrónico en el que se encuentran

todas las empresas que han procedido al registro a través del portal ICEX, ya que,

tal y como les informamos, se trataba de un requisito imprescindible para que sus

datos pudiesen figurar en esta versión on-line. El enlace que ya se encuentra

La versión online será distribuida a través de un mailing que hará la Oficina

Económica y Comercial en Chicago dirigido a las personas que están pre-

registradas (principalmente a los visitantes) en la BIO. El objetivo es publicitar a las

cada una de ellas.

CIRCULAR Nº 6 Información sobre el sistema electrónico

para la autorización de viaje a Estados Unidos

Estimado participante: Le recordamos que desde el año 2009, todos los ciudadanos españoles que viajen a

EE UU por ocio o turismo bajo el programa de exención de visados y por menos de

90 días tendrán que registrarse por Internet y obtener una autorización

electrónica (ESTA) antes de embarcar en un avión o en un crucero con destino al

país.

Este trámite ha de realizarse a través de la siguiente página web:

https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov

La solicitud se podrá presentar en cualquier momento con no menos de 72 horas de

antelación del viaje. Si es aprobada, será válida por un periodo de dos años ó hasta

que caduque el pasaporte del solicitante si es antes de ese periodo. Las

autorizaciones serán válidas también para entradas múltiples a EE.UU.

También la organización ferial BIO recomienda realizar estos trámites lo antes

posible e indica, como primer paso, generar la carta de invitación para la

Convención Internacional BIO 2013, y ofrece algunas orientaciones sobre el trámite

A continuación les indicamos varios puntos a destacar sobre el evento:

1. Horario de la feria:

Martes 24 de junio: de 09:30 a 18:30

Miércoles 25 de junio: de 09:30 a 17:30

Jueves 26 de junio: de 09:30 a 17:30

2. Registro:

Sábado 21 de junio: de 13:00 a 17:00 horas (Lobby D, Planta baja).

Domingo 22 de junio: de 08:00 a 17:00 horas (Lobby D, Planta baja).

Lunes 23 de junio: de 07:30 a 17:00 horas (Lobby D, Planta baja).

Los participantes con pase EBP (Exhibitor Booth Perssonel) podrán acceder al

recinto ferial a partir del sábado 21, una vez hayan realizado el check-in en el

punto de registro.

3. Horario de montaje:

Lunes 23 de junio: de 8:00 a 19:00 horas.

Rogamos prevean la llegada de al menos un responsable a su stand, en caso de

tener puesto de trabajo, antes de las 13:00 horas de este día.

4.Horario de desmontaje:

Jueves 26 de junio: de 17:30 a 23:59 horas.

Está prohibido por la BIO comenzar el desmontaje antes de las 17:30 horas de este

día.

5. Eventos que tendrán lugar durante la celebración de la feria:

a. Bio Welcome Reception: lunes 23 de junio a las 19:15 horas en el USS Midway.

b. Hospitality Reception: martes 24 de junio de 17:00 a 18:30 horas en el pabellón

español.
