Skyscrapers are a popular creative that appear down the right hand side of the page. Due to their sheer size, this format provides an excellent vehicle to increase user awareness and promote brand perception. Skyscrapers can take rotating images and flash.

Banners are an extremely popular format that is generally positioned at the top, or bottom of the page. Banners can take rotating images or flash creatives. They are effective in directing users to advertiser websites.

Buttons are smallest format, they can also be known as “badges or hotspots”. Buttons can include rotating images or flash. Due to their unique size, buttons work well when incorporating within a specific project or campaign.

Roadblocks offer a superb way of “owning” every standard ad position on a given page or channel. This exclusivity ensures maximum impact for an advertiser, which encourages response rates. Roadblocks include banners, sky and MPU format.

Channel Sponsorship enables the advertiser to integrate within the site and build an associated trust with our editorial content.Advertisers can add key messages or promotion and place these within prominent positions within the format.Channel sponsorship also allows advertorial copy to be placed on the site that offers the perfect advertising solution to many client campaigns.

Bespoke competitionBespoke advertorialBespoke advertorials are created in the “look & feel” of the parent website, with advertiser objectives front of mind.Advertorials are an ideal vehicle for creating maximum standout.

Bespoke designed pages with competition element and data capture relating specifically to advertisers product or service.

MicrositeA Microsite is a series of bespoke editorial pages built purposely for the advertiser. Designed in the “look & feel” of the editorial, microsites are written and designed to communicate advertising messages in a bespoke environment. Microsites can be between 2-6 pages and offer links and buttons dedicated to the advertiser to achieve maximum brand awareness and complete interaction.

TenancyA tenancy allows an advertiser to own a fixed placement on a site for a predefined period. Rather than buying on a CPM, CPC etc. advertisers can pay a fixed cost for the period, irrelevant of how many impressions are delivered.

This is a bespoke service whereby we can create a unique channel full of relevant content for any advertiser or product, and design all of the content and images. A bespoke channel generates extensive page impressions and can include sponsorship placements as well as standard advertising

positions.

Page washCountdown clockA bespoke clock that sits on the masthead near to the logo at the top of the page. The digital clock can be used to countdown time to a certain event such as close of a competition or a New Year starting. Countdown Clocks generate massive page impressions.

RoadblockRoadblocks offer a superb way of “owning” every standard ad position on a given page or channel. This exclusivity ensures maximum impact for an advertiser, which encourages response rates. Roadblocks include banners, sky and MPU format.

A bespoke service, where the background of the advertisers page is turned into a different colour to match the content of their campaign strategy, thus creating a colour match.

Guest channel

Section themeSection Themes are page templates that can be manipulated to match an advertisers particular colour theme or brand. This enables an advertiser to integrate closely with the content, whilst securing maximum visibility for a campaign. The sponsor owns all positions within the section and various customisable options are available.

Cross-Media campaigns provide an excellent opportunity to reach a wide audience with specific interest by coupling the strength of our offline and online cross-media campaigns.Having interactivity online with status and success offline creates a fantastic platform to run hugely successful promotions.Standard formats and text links are designed to drive users to a branded editorial page that is designed to look and feel like a parent website.

Keyword targetingNewsletter sponsorshipAND send out regular newsletters covering a host of various topics to individual subscribers. The Newsletter sponsorship campaign covers items like Health, Showbiz or Horoscopes and will target an audience that is entirely appropriate to a specific project or campaign.Newsletters offer the advertiser a banner, skyscraper and 30 words of text.

Background

Campaign Objectives

Campaign demonstrates online ad effectiveness of AND’s dating sites with a 224% increase in purchase behaviour following campaign

ImplementationRandom respondents were recruited via a overlay served on each site. Each overlay script captured cookies allowing us to identify those respondents who were exposed to the campaign. From this a control and exposed audience was achieved.

At the end of the campaign both groups were surveyed about their awareness and attitudes towards the Hot Stuff brand and any lifts were attributed to the online campaign

ResultsAND’s Ad Solutions team, with the help of independent specialists measured the branding effectiveness of the online activity.

The campaign successfully reached the target audience of 18-34 year olds

• Robust sample sizes - 1,074 respondents• Average age group 28.3

AND’s dating brands cater for all types of online dating from the serious relationships to fun chat. They are the UK’s number one dating company with a 24% market share. This makes then a perfect place to reach a large receptive audience.

The research in this instance was concentrated on 2 of the larger sites within the portfolio- Loopylove and Girlsdateforfree.
