    Through our network o members comprising private and public organisations o every size and sector, many activearound the world, EFQM applies its know-how and extracts outstanding approaches by engaging with executivesand ront-line managers.

    EFQM is the custodian o the EFQM Excellence Model, a non-prescriptive ramework that can be used to gain anholistic view o any organisation regardless o size, sector or maturity. Over the past 20 years, the EFQM ExcellenceModel has been a blueprint or EFQM members and organisations across and beyond Europe to develop a cultureo excellence, access good practices, drive innovation and improve their results. Those organisations have becomemore attentive to the needs o their stakeholders. They have learned how to learn, innovate and improve their

    overall perormance. Their leaders have increased their abilities to take inormed decisions and to understand thedrivers o their strategy. Many o those organisations have acted as role models or other organisations, winningmanagement practices have been re-used and adapted through EFQM sharing what works. This has led to asignifcant reduction o waste, increased economic efciencies and improved societal relations.

    EFQM is now actively helping to prepare a new generation o business leaders by oering training and develop-ment opportunities built on practice-based learning and exchange between organisations. Our exchanges areunderpinned by shared tools or assessment, calibrated during two decades o use within organisations and as thebasis or discerning the EFQM Excellence Award, Europes most prestigious award or organisations.
