Remote Site Logistics and Supply Chain ManagementWhen operating in remote and challenging environments, effective management of the project logistics and supply chain minimises overall cost and thus contributes greatly to project success. We routinely manage procurement, contracting for materials and services, expediting, real-time tracking, transportation, consolidation and staging of materials.

Our team of engineers, logistics supervisors and procurement specialists ensures that materials and services used in the supply chain meet the project specifications through selection standards and quality assurance, while representing good value to the project. Our material managers and logistics co-ordinators are experienced in arranging and prioritising orders for shipments to meet the project schedule and, where possible, following a just-in-time inventory strategy to reduce equipment costs.

We partner with experienced service providers to form a high-performing integrated supply chain and logistics team. These partners cover all modes of transportation from trucking and freight forwarding, through to barging and aviation, all managed with sophisticated logistics software providing management with the critical real-time shipping status they need.

Arctic ConstructionWe provide construction services to clients in unusual climates and remote locations where logistics management, access to resources and safety management are all challenges.

Kentz has executed construction projects in Arctic environments for over a decade while Jago has operated in Alaska for over 20 years. Working in Arctic surroundings comes with many challenges: extreme temperatures and harsh winds; limited daylight in the winter; remote locations with no permanent infrastructure or road access.

Safety requires heightened planning and awareness of the unique hazards encountered in such working conditions.

We provide expert project management, planning, and logistics support with an emphasis on precise, well-defined approaches to engineering, regulatory compliance, drilling and ongoing operations. We can deploy specialised Arctic equipment to mobilise any time of year, and also employ seasoned North Slope construction craftsmen to build any project safely, on time, on budget, and exceeding quality expectations.
