Who may be considered

Applicants must be residents of Marlboro Meadows development (as defined by

MMCDC). Upon graduation from high school 2011/2012, applicants must be

enrolled or registered for a full-time academic, vocational, or technical course

load leading to a degree or certification from an institute of higher learning.

Application packages will only be accepted when mailed to MMCDC – Sholarship, P.O.

Box 93, Upper Marlboro MD 20772. Application packages must be postmarked by the

United States Postal Service (USPS) by the closing date: April 30, 2012.

A. Complete and sign this Scholarship Application Form. B. On a separate paper #1, type or handwrite a one-page essay, “Who is my hero?”. You may write more than one page if desired. C. On a separate paper #2, write about your planned activities for college. State why you want to further your education. D. On a separate paper #3, list your awards, badges, accomplishments, and recognitions. E. On a separate paper #4, write about your community activities in school, church, groups/clubs, volunteer/paid employment, etc. F. Compile the completed/signed Scholarship Application Form and all separate pages (#1, 2, 3, 4) into one final package.

a. The Scholarship Application Form must be FIRST PAGE in your final package. b. Attach all other pages BEHIND the Scholarship Application Form in ANY order.

G. Write your full name on the top of all separated pages (#1, 2, 3, 4). MMCDC will not accept an incomplete or late Scholarship Application Package.
