UNITY FAMILY & COMMUNITY FAMILY
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Lift up in prayer Katrina Miedema and
her family in the days
ahead. While resolution has come
regarding care of her children for
which they are grateful to God for
this, the adjustment and needs to
providing for the children has
stretched her and the family. Pray for
God's sustaining grace to uphold her
as these days. If God would move on
your heart to help provide financially
for some of these needs, please con-
tact one of the Deacons or Pastor
Steve.
Connie Duininck w ill be having
back surgery tomorrow in the Cities to
help alleviate the severe pain she has
been experiencing over the last
month. Pray for God's power and
peace to be made manifest through
this surgery and for relief of pain to
come soon.
Administrative Assistant
Unity Admin Team is seeking applications for the position of Administrative Assistant. The position of Administrative Assistant serves to provide vital communication, organization, and secretarial support ser-vices for the ministry and vision of Unity CRC. We are seeking applicants capable and eager to offer a warm welcome to our facility, provide efficient office manage-ment and support services, and partici-pate, in coordination with others, in bookkeeping/finance activity. A job de-scription is available from the church of-fice. We welcome letters of interest ac-companied by a resume. If you know of individuals who you feel would be a good candidate for this position, feel free to bring this information to their attention. We will be accepting applications through April 15. For more infor-mation contact Church Administrator, Wil-son Brouwer.
Unity Family:
Shirley Bonnema was hospitalized
in Willmar this past week with pneu-
monia. She anticipates transferring to
Rice Care Therapy Suites to conva-
lesce over the next couple of
weeks. Pray for God's strength and
healing to pour over her in the days
ahead.
We extend our love to Hubert and
Marilyn Wieberdink and their
family in the sudden death of Hu-
bert's brother, Vern. It appears he
had a medical emergency while driv-
ing and as a result of that and the
accident, passed away shortly thereaf-
ter. His wife Joyce was injured in the
accident and is hospitalized in Alexan-
dria. May the grace of our God com-
fort each of you during this season of
grief.
Jim Himmelspach was discharged
from St. Cloud hospital on Mon-
day. He is doing better and slowly
gaining strength. We thank God for
His healing mercies and pray for con-
tinue strengthening.
David Plowman was diagnosed
with an aggressive form of cancer this
week at Mayo clinics. He expected to
receive his first round of chemo on
Friday before returning home. Inter-
cede for God's hand to be stretched
out in power towards David and for
God's peace to continue to surround
him and the family. David testifies of
the peace he has and how God's Word
is strengthening him. Pray for the
family as they navigate together
through these difficult times.

THE GENERAL FUND UPDATE
Stewardship Corner Resurrection Giving. Easter... what a blessed time of year - celebrating new life, re-newed hope, victory! The church, from early on, set the first day of the week as the day of worship... the day of resurrection! We are invited each week to see our corporate worship as living out resurrection... and this includes our giving. Giving has a resurrec-tion power - it's able to bring life, and hope, and victory when given in love. It enables ministries, missions, and many of gestures of kindness to infuse the brokenness of this world with resurrection life. When the offering plate comes by this Sunday, let the bas-ket not pass without a moment of thanks and praise for the resurrection power of Jesus Christ in our lives. And then offer a prayer of blessing that the monies collected are used to display the power of Christ in all facets of ministry for the week ahead.
