Logging in to Your Portal

1. To log in to your portal, point a web browser at the following URL:

https://cp.atrionsmb.net

2. You will then be directed to the following login page:

3. Type your username and password and click Login to enter your portal. If you cannot remember

your password, click the ‘Forgot password?’ link and follow the instructions on the screen.

Adding a Mailbox

1. Log in to your portal. See Logging in to your portal.

2. Choose ‘Exchange’ from the top menu bar on the page that appears after you log in. See Below:

3. Click ‘Add New Mailbox’. See Below:

4. STOP: If you see the error screen pictured below this text, then this means you have reached

your mailbox limit. Please click the ‘Upgrade Resources’ button to purchase more mailboxes.

If the screen pictured below is not what you see at this point, then please skip to step 7.

5. Once you have clicked the ‘Upgrade Resources’ button, you should see the screen pictured

below. Locate the field labeled ‘Premier Exchange Account – 25GB (Resellers)’ and increase the

total number of mailboxes to the new desired limit. If you wish the newly added users to have

the ability to access their email via smart phones, then you must also increase the number of

ActiveSync users. You may increase the number of ActiveSync users by locating the field labeled

‘ActiveSync 2010 (Resellers)’ and changing the number of units to the total number desired.

Once you have finished setting the number of mailbox and ActiveSync users, click ‘Next’ to

continue.

6. After increasing the number of resources in the precious step and click ‘Next’, you will now see a

screen similar to the one below. To finish purchasing the resources you must click the ‘Place

Order’ Button. You will now be directed to a confirmation screen where you must click ’Exit

Upgrade Wizard’. Now you may add your new mailbox.

7. The ‘Add New Mailbox’ screen is displayed below. Enter a Display Name, Login and Password

then click ‘Next’.

8. The ‘Add New Mailbox’ wizard continues with a screen similar to the one pictured below. Select

the checkboxes next to the desired services below and then click ‘Finish’. The recommended

selections, shown below, are Outlook Web Access (OWA), Outlook Access and ActiveSync. Once

you have clicked finished, you will be directed to a list of your mailboxes. You have completed

adding your new mailbox.

Deleting a User

1. Log in to your portal. See Logging in to your portal.

2. Choose ‘Users’ from the top menu bar on the page that appears after you log in. See Below:

3. Find the user you wish to delete from the list of displayed users and click the checkbox to the

left of the name.

4. Click the Delete button located toward the top of the screen.

5. When asked ‘Do you really want to delete selected Service User(s)?’ click ‘OK’ if you are

absolutely sure that you want to delete this user and all of the mail in this user’s mailbox. Once

you have clicked ‘OK’, you have completed deleting the user.

Resetting Passwords

1. Log in to your portal. See Logging in to your portal.

2. Choose ‘Users’ from the top menu bar on the page that appears after you log in. See Below:

3. Find the user that you wish to reset the password for in the list of users and click the value in the

‘Display Name’ column.

4. You will be directed to the settings screen for this user. Click the ‘Change Password’ button.

5. Type the new password in the ‘Password’ and ‘Confirm Password’ textboxes and then click

‘Submit’ to chance the user’s password.

Configure Email Forwarding

You can set up a user’s mailbox to forward email to another location using the Apptix Control Panel. For

instance, if a user does not always have access to their Outlook account, or would like to access email

via another service, you can quickly and easily forward their email messages to another account, while

leaving a copy in their inbox. Disabling the forwarding is just as quick and easy.

1. Log into the Control Panel.

The Apptix Control Panel’s main dashboard displays:

column.

4. Click the Forwarding tab:

5. To enable forwarding, click the [Enable] button.

The screen changes to enable you to select the email address to which you would like to forward

messages.

6. In the E-mail address input box, type the email address to which you would like to forward

messages.

If you wish to leave a copy of the email messages in the user’s Apptix mailbox (in addition to the

copy being forwarded), click the checkbox next to Leave copy of messages.

Once you have defined the forwarding email address, click the [Submit] button.

• If you do not click the Leave copy of messages checkbox, email will be forwarded to the external

email address without saving a copy in the Apptix mailbox.

A confirmation screen displays the forwarding parameters submitted:

7. On the confirmation screen you can click the [Disable] button to cancel the forwarding or click the

[Change] button to edit the forwarding email address defined.

NOTE: To forward to multiple email addresses, create a Distribution List and use the list’s email

address as the email forwarding address (see Create a Distribution List for more information).

Creating a Distribution List Using Create a Distribution List

Distribution lists help you organize your addresses into groups and send messages to everyone who is a

member of a group. For instance, you can create a distribution list called “Sales,” and add all of your

sales staff to that list. When you send a message to “Sales,” it is delivered to every mailbox that is a

member of the “Sales” distribution list.

1. Log into the Apptix Control Panel.

The Apptix Control Panel’s main dashboard displays:

3. Select the Distribution Lists tab and a list of all current distribution lists for the account displays:

5. On this first screen of the Add New Distribution List wizard, enter an Alias, Display name, and E-

mail address for the new distribution list.

Place a check to Show in Address Book: this will display this distribution list in your organization’s

global address list (GAL) — the default is checked.

Select a Security level:

• Everyone (inside and outside your organization) can send messages to this list

• only members of your Organization can send messages to this list

• only Members of this list can send messages to the list

6. Click [Submit]and the new distribution list is created and added to the current list:

Notice that the new list has a status of “Creating.”

When complete, the status will read “Ready.”

7. As the cursor placement illustrates above, to add members, begin by selecting the appropriate list

by clicking its Display name.

The Distribution List Details screen displays:

10. Place a check mark beside all the users you want to include in the new distribution list and click

[Submit].

The selected users are added to the new distribution list:

Adding an Email Address to an Existing Mailbox

1. Log into the portal at cp.atrionsmb.net using username and password provided.

2. On the Company Home Page please click on the Exchange tab.

3. While on the exchange tab please click on the display name of the account that will have the

second email address. This will open the User Account’s General Menu.

4. In the User Account General Menu click on the email addresses tab. This tab will allow you to

add a secondary email address by clicking Add New Email Address button.

5. Finally type in the second address you would like to have created for the account and choose

the domain from the list available. Click the Submit button which will complete the modification

process.
