RAY’S REMARKS:
Hasn’t this fall weather been great! It has beenso nice lately and many of the trees in our area are looking gorgeous. We certainly serve a mighty and powerful God and the signs of HisWonder are all around us. We had a great attendance this last Sunday. It was good to seemost of our church family present. We also had several visitors with us,some from our area. It is always wonderful to share our faith withothers. It was also a blessing to have a baptism on Sunday morning afterservices. We want to welcome Jordyn Davis to God’s family. Let’s allencourage this new young sister in her walk with God. It was alsoexciting to have Jordyn and her mom, Rochelle Sturdivant place mem-bership with us on Sunday. We are thankful to have these good sistersin our midst and we have also enjoyed having Rochelle’s parents(brother and sister Fuller) visit with us for many weeks now. Let’s allshow them the normal K.E. welcome and let them know how happy weare that they have joined our church family. I had a great evening this past Sunday night. I was able to be atMountain Grove for their annual lectureship. You may have noticed thatDad was not here Sunday morning, that’s because he also spoke in thelectureship that morning. Mountain Grove is where brother Darinpreaches. They are such a fine and sound congregation and they arebig supporters of our preacher’s schools, especially the BIM. Let’skeep this good congregation in our prayers that they may continue toprosper as they do the Will of God. Well, we had our final exams this week at the BIM. That meansanother quarter is in the record books. Both classes continue to dowell, and we start our new quarter this coming Monday. I will beteaching N.T. Greek 2 and the Prison Epistles. Please continue to keepthis good work and all those involved in your prayers. I hope you have a great weekend. I look forward to seeing you allin worship this coming Sunday. Until then, know that if we always putGod first in all things, we will never regret it. God Bless!

ELDER’S CORNER:
On Sunday we had a young lady, JordynDavis come forward to be baptized intoChrist. We appreciate her willingness toserve God, also her mother states she wantsto be a part of the K.E. congregation. Hername is Rochelle Sturdivant and they liveclose by. Let’s all continue to keep our brethrenin our prayers, especially Brother Carroll Si-mon and Gene Keeton who are having seri-ous health problems. Also, keep their wivesand family in our prayers. They have a diffi-cult time in caring for them. Rememberyour agape groups. Try to be at the meetingfor fellowship and lunch. Keep Brother Wes-ley in your prayers for all he does for theagape program and other works.
See you on Sunday!~ Gary & Jerry

HOW TO PREVENT DISTURBANCE
* Don’t make a tragedy out of things when they
don’t go your way.
* Don’t think you are the center of the universe
and everything revolves around you.
* Realize that people make mistakes and this is
be expected; be tolerant of yourself and others.
* Don’t think people have to like you at all times.
* Don’t feel guilty and ashamed about your past
and present.
* Don’t live in the past.
* Don’t feel sorry for yourself.
* Sometimes, be willing to do what you think is
Best, even if others don’t like it.
* Don’t compare yourself with others in terms of
Money and clothes; they are false standards.
