63 Clack, Estcourt (1906-1973), resin sculpture of St Mark on a marble plinth base Note: Clack was a member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors and in 1947 was awarded the Otto Beit prize for the best work of sculpture. In 1951 he won a competition to design a statue and fountain for Green Park, commissioned by the Constance Fund. This was 'Diana of the Treetops' which was completed in 1954. In 1960 Clack carved a panel for 15 Marylebone Road depicting Charles Dickens and the principal characters from six of his novels which were written whilst the author was living nearby
