Specialising in Aluminium, Dibond and Zintec signage, we now stock a complete range of the most widely used road signs in various sizes that can be taken directly off the shelf, which in turn allows us to concen-trate on the design and production of specials and bespoke TM signage.

Aluminium & Dibond

Manufactured on 11g Aluminium or Dibond faced with Class Ref II. Reflective, our Highways based road signs are designed in-house with the aid of the most advanced graphic design software.

All signs can be either drilled for quick fit frame purposes, or come complete with sign channel for permanent fixing.

DIBOND is a relatively lightweight yet very rigid aluminium composite material, consisting of a polyethylene core and aluminium cover sheets with a thickness of 0,3 mm. Front and reverse sides are coil-coated according to ECCA-Standards.

The special aluminium alloy offers increased corrosion resistance. Despite its light weight, DIBOND offers high rigidity and perfect flatness. Excellent exterior stability within a range of temperatures from - 50 to +80°C and minor thermal expansion DIBOND is environmentally friendly and fully recyclable.DIBOND HAS NO SCRAP VALUE.

Tennants also offers a bespoke ‘Embossing’ service whereby we can personalise each sign with your company text/logo underneath the reflective for prevention of theft.

Zintec signs & frames

As one of the UK’s largest manufacturers of Temporary Road Signs, Tennants has spent many years working closely with leading Traffic Management, Construction & Civil Engineering companies in order to fully understand the needs of the industry.

Zintec is a cheaper alternative to aluminium and widely used for temporary signs & frames, manufactured on 22g Zintec.

All signs come with the choice of either the standard Class Ref I reflective, Class Ref II reflective or Gloss Vinyl. Designed according to Transport Design Regulations, our Zintec road plates are extremely durable and can be ordered separate, clipped or riveted into hard wearing steel frames.

Tennants UK’s new design quick fit frames.

We can design your own Frame tags. Printed onto high impact ABS acrylic these tags personalise your frames for advertising and security.

With this new design the legs are extended 40mm past the top cross member in order to protect the drop nose fasteners.

Sand bag bars are set inside the line of the frame for space saving and efficient transportation.

Cones

Tennants UK two piece heavy duty cones meet BS and EN regulations. These are ideal for use in heavy traffic areas such as motorways, contraflow systems and lane delineation.

Available Sizes (height)• 500mm • 750mm• 1000mm

These cones are designed with a tough composite base and come complete with hand grips for ease of handling.

Base can also be personalised with company names/logos and can be offered in a variety of colours.

Our brightly coloured 1 piece cones are thermoplastic manufactured and are compression based, moulded to withstand wide temperature ranges. Its unique flat mat system provides extra stability and prevents carriageway creeping.

Fitted with D2 sleeves to meet EN Standards our 1 piece cone is interstackable with other leading cones.

These warning cones are available in various designs and sizes to meet the needs of the police, local authorities and others. They use tough polymers for high impact strength and a modern pigment system is used to enhance their colour and thus visibility.

Our ‘Standard’ No Waiting Cone is manufactured from 100% virgin polyethylene - This series of cone is sand weighted and comes complete with ‘No Parking’ symbol as per image.

The ‘Warden’ is an exclusive design. The base is made from 100% flexible compound, eliminating the need for extra weighting and therefore no spillages will occur if the cone is damaged in use.

Tennants UK new Union Pedestrian Barrier is a 2M x 1M one piece injection moulded barrier ideal for crowd control purposes. Lightweight for easy handling yet extremely robust, the Union Barrier offers a perfect alternative to our traditional ‘Watchman’ Barrier system.

A complete Chapter 8 barrier system made from high density polyethylene. The barrier is constructed from any desired combination of bases, uprights and planks to make a versatile barrier suitable for controlling traffic or crowds.

High visibility rear markings must have:“Chevron markings comprising alternate strips of red retroreflective material and fluorescent yellow
