The college has an Alumni Nite every year. This year too we had an evening of music and dance with dinner. Where our Alumni renewed friendships and relived memories of their college days.

We invite Alumni to our seminar as our chief guests. We had CA Shailesh Haribhakti and Advocate Wavlikar as speakers who addressed the students and motivated them by talking about their success stories and how they could emulate them.

We also encourage our Alumni to join us as teachers after they complete Post Graduation. The college invited Alumni for NAAC accreditation, they came and spoke to the committee about how happy and proud they are to be the Alumni of such Prestigious Institution. They are rejoicing now as their college has been re-accredited with ‘A’ Grade by NAAC.

COUNSELLING REPORT :

As counsellor of Lala Lalapatrai College of Commerce & Economics since 2003 I have been meeting students from all courses, B.Com, B.M.S, B.A.F, B.M.M, B.B.I, and B.Sc.IT/CS.

It involves sharing their problems and giving them guidance and support whenever they need it.

Many of them have, emotional, financial or personality issues. Giving empathy and listening to them gives them the courage to speak out and unburden themselves.

Career counselling is more popular with the students view as they are confused which field to opt for, and the different career options available.

Career Guidance helps them to make the right decision.

Many a time teacher sends students who feel need counselling either because their grades go down, or they stop attending lectures, with some counselling we know the reason and help them to come to terms with their problems and start taking interest in studies again.
