Unit SummaryStudents/participants will be engaged in
extending their learning about the 1960s, especially the history and culture of the period and the relationships among history, politics, culture, and people.
The students/participants will engage in
extending their learning about the time by reading, viewing, and hearing from primary sources from those times.

• Identify, locate, and use primary source materials to examine multiple perspectives on selected topics about the 1960s
• Access and use primary source materials to develop knowledge, skills, and analytical abilities
• Engage with one another to ask probing questions, think critically, develop reasonable explanations and interpretations of events and issues of the 1960s
• Use Web 2.0 and other tools to communicate and collaborate with peers and others in the global community
• Connect learning to real-life experiences.
