The most brutal bear attack in Japan’s history tookplace in the remote village of Sankebetsu in 1915,
when a giant brown bear called Kesagake went on arampage and killed six people in only two days, maulingthem to death in their own homes! An expert bear hunterfinally managed to stop the violent beast, which stoodthree metres tall and weighed 380kg.
Most man-eaters are just bad memories, but Gustave, a massive Nile crocodilefrom Burundi, is still killing people to this day! Gustave, whose death count is
supposedly over 300 people, carries the countless scars from knives, spearsand bullet holes from hunters, but they’ve all failed to end his reign of terror!

The great white shark got its fearsome reputation thanks to a series ofdeadly shark attacks along the coast of New Jersey in America in 1916 – a
time when most scientists thought sharks were harmless to humans! Four peoplewere killed and one seriously injured by the man-eater, who’d developed a taste for humanflesh. The event led to panic all across America and was the inspiration behind the movie, Jaws!

can scale the sides of tall trees andhigh buildings. To add to their amazingclimbing prowess, they can fly throughthe air by using their webbed feet,broad tail and flaps of skin to glidebetween trees. They can control theirfall with their flaps and can glide for upto 60 metres!
