9 RULES TO FOLLOW TO SET UP

A GOOD MARKETING STRATEGY

● Always add a call to action to every marketing document you produce

Call to action: any kind of action (a discount, a gift, money, benefits…) that leads someone to another action.

Information marketing campaigns do not exist, only action marketing exists. Give something to your customers in exchange for their data.

Rule 1 : CALL TO ACTION

Leads per acquisition

● There is always a reason you can give to your customers to act now.

Examples:

● limited quantity ● uniqueness ● limited time ● special offer ● users’ needs ● technological change

Rule 2 THERE IS ALWAYS A REASON TO ACT NOW

Rule 3 A CALL TO ACTION MUST BE FULLY

THOUGHT OUT

● Give your customers detailed instructions on how to react to your call to action.

Don’t leave it to chance. Reactions must be guided.

● You need to analyze the results of every marketing activity you do.

Track every single action you do.

Understand where your contacts are coming from.

Assign to every action a different tracking number (example use vouchers or bonus cards, use dedicated phone numbers, use dedicated landing pages for each action).

Rule 4 ANALYZE RESULTS

● Brand awareness must be a consequence of your activities, not an activity.

● Always create a follow up message.

Create campaigns with more steps, you should never send something that doesn’t have a follow up action.

• 3 calls : one call must occur right after the last sales letter. The others must result in an appointment

● Write effective copy.

No wordplays. You need good copy, that is well structured and scientifically thought out and planned.

Rule 8 A HIGH NUMBER OF CLICKS DOES NOT MEAN GOOD MARKETING

● Clicks, open rates and visualizations do not count for your marketing.

Clicks and open rates are not tangible results. Only conversions, actions and countable results are important to measure.

Use tools that help you to schedule your marketing activities.

Set aside one day a month to focus on your marketing efforts.

● Can be as simple as retweeting, reposting, sharing and liking industry related posts, and even scheduling a few emails and posts of your own.

When one day a month becomes tangible, then add an extra day a month, and so on.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): It is just an extra layer of security. In simple words, if you secure a door with a lock, it’s already something. If you secure it with two locks, it’s twice as efficient as securing it with one lock, since it will take more time and effort to a potential intruder to break it (and perhaps they will not even try).

How does it work? When 2FA is enabled, a user is required to verify his or her identity by providing two pieces of information:
