UNNAT BHARAT ABHIYAN,

MNIT JAIPUR

Introduction

As per the vision of our Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi and the initiatives by MHRDfor the development of villages, Unnat Bharat Scheme is launched and a mandate to develop 5 villages is given to MNIT Jaipur.

What is UNNAT BHARAT ABHIYAN

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is conceptualised as a movement to enable processes that connect institutes of higher education with local communities to address the development challenges of rural India through participatory processes and appropriate technologies for accelerating sustainable growth.

It also aims to create a virtuous cycle between the society and an inclusive university system by providing knowledge and practices for emerging professions and to upgrade the capabilities of both the public and the private sectors.

VILLAGES

MNIT Jaipur adopted five villages

I. Jirrota (Tehsil Sanganer)

II. Paharia (Tehsil Phagi)

III. Tamaria (Tehsil Chaksu)

IV. Dhab ka Nala (Tehsil Amer)

V. Bhurthal (Tehsil Bassi)

• To provide all possible technical help to the villages.

• To spread awareness of cleanliness and personal hygiene through posters, pamphlets, talks, electronic media, nukkad nataks.

• To organize camps for Career Counseling for youth as per their skill and knowledge set.

• On site Skill Development and employment generation programs for the youth on the skills.

• Popularizing technology based learning
