What Is a Sewing Notion?

A notion is any sewing supply or tool that you can hold easily in one hand.

Which tool is the notion?

Is used for taking out sewing mistakes.

What are the differences?

Pinking shears

Pin Cushion

A safe place to store your pins.

Safety pin

Used to thread elastic through a waistband.

Thimbles

Used when hand sewing to protect your fingers.
