The GXP OnScene mobile application allows incident commandand responders in the field to work from a common operatingpicture for maximum efficiency and shared geospatial awarenessat the scene of an event or crisis.

Leveraging the power of the GXP Platform andthe advanced image exploitation capabilitiesof SOCET GXP®, GXP OnScene displays a tactical, customizable Grid Reference Graphic (GRG)overlay on top of up-to-date, personalized mapsfor ease-of-communication and enhancedinteroperability. The location of personnel isdisplayed on the map using device GPS, providingresponders with situational awareness andallowing the command center to coordinate anddirect personnel in real-time.

GXP OnScene also works directly with SOCET GXPto create reports and products with integratedgeospatial reference for use during investigationsand for post-incident reports. Products can bestored in the GXP Xplorer®catalog and shared orused for further analysis.

Report from or recreate a scene

Create a unified command post where multiple agenciescollaborate and share responsibility of the incident

Enable communication between ground personnel andaerial support to report back to the unified command post

Provide direction for personnel on scene

Locate personnel as situations evolve

Create a common operating picture that allowsresponders to systematically cover a largegeographic area and clearly communicateactions on the ground back to the commandcenter. Use the SOCET GXP Grid ReferenceGraphic (GRG) tool to overlay a grid on aerialimagery and quickly snapshot the GRG to adistributable report. Using this shared situationalawareness ensures search and rescue operationteams have the information they need toconfirm that no area goes unsearched.

In this GRG report, numbered markers indicate sites andstructures that fall within the search area. These markerscan be used to coordinate relief efforts among severalresponders or units.

Identify and assess damages caused byflooding, landslides, earthquakes, and fire. Theadvanced image processing algorithms withinSOCET GXP make detecting change in an areafast and easy. Import and overlay before andafter imagery to automatically detect areas ofchange. Highlight, measure, and store areasof interest (AOI) to save time when repeatedlyperforming analysis on the same area.

SOCET GXP makes comparing changes in old vs. newimagery simple. In this report on a gas explosion, theextent of the damage can easily be assessed through aside-by-side comparison of the imagery.
