  • Did you know that 10,000 Baby Boomers are turning 65 every day? I didn’t realize that so many members of the “Woodstock generation” were signing up for Medicare and Social Security already!

at got us thinking about a local publishing opportunity geared toward this burgeoning segment of the population. With that in mind, we are pleased to announce that Springs Publishing LLC, parent company of Reporter Newspapers and Atlanta INtown, is introducing Atlanta Senior Life.

e new monthly publication’s target audience is the ourishing 65+ active senior population, which is the metro area’s fastest-growing age group according to the Atlanta Regional Commission. Atlanta’s senior population is a

large and diverse market, with active adults who have the means and motivation to enjoy their lives. Atlanta Senior Life will provide these readers with fresh, timely and engaging information focused on where they live.

Atlanta Senior Life will be similar in format to our other papers, with crisp graphic design and high-quality, full color printing. It will have an initial circulation of 20,000 copies, distributed to selected locations where active seniors live, work, volunteer and play in the north metro areas of Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton and Gwinnett counties.

Atlanta Senior Life represents our sixth community-oriented paper since the company was launched nearly 10 years ago with the Sandy Springs Reporter and Buckhead Reporter. We started the Brookhaven Reporter in 2009 and the

Dunwoody Reporter the next year; Atlanta INtown was acquired in 2013. Combined free circulation for the bi-weekly Reporter Newspapers and the monthly Atlanta INtown is 97,000 copies.

Look for Atlanta Senior Life around your community or nd the digital edition online at atlantaseniorlife.com.

As always, I welcome your feedback; please email me at publisher@reporternewspapers.net.
