BARANGAY HISTORY

Socorro, which means help in Spanish, derived it’s name from it’s Patroness, OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP. Created into a Bario on November 6, 1961 by virtue of Quezon City Ordinance NO. 61- 4883 ; and as a Barangay Assembly pursuant to PD 85 ang PD 210 , Socorro, which was subsequently recognized barangays under PD 557 dated September 21, 1974 “declaring all barrios and citizen’s Assemblies in the Philippines as barangay’s “.

Amplified by executive order no. Dated June 25, 1975 , of the late Mayor Norberto S. Amorano, who has that distinct record as the City Chief Executive Officer with the longest record of service in the capacity .

Stray dog/cat – operation stray dog being preformed by our tanods.

Curfew –stick inflammation among stick inflammation

Peace and Order –kung nakakita tayo ng gulo sa ating paligid.Tawagan natin ang mga tanod o police para masolusyonan ito.

Cleanliness – maganda dito ang pag rerecycle ng mga gamit at paghihiwalay ng nabubulok sa hindi nabubulok.At pag bubulsa ng maliliit na basura kapag nasa daan.

Illegal settles – para sakin magbigay sila ng libreng bahay o murang bahay para sa mga squatters / mahihirap.

MGA SOLUSYON PARA SAKIN (cont’)

Stray dog/cat – par hindi pakalat-kalat ang mga aso o pusa . Kailangan natin maghanap ng mag aalaga saka nila o ibigay sa PAWS.

Curfew – kailangan natin umuwi ng maaga . At ‘wag magpapagabi kasi delikado .

KONKLUSYON

KAILANGAN NATIN ALAGAAN ANG ATING BARANGAY UPANG MAGING MAAYOS ANG PAMUMUHAY NATIN LAHAT.
