Who Should Apply?

Students planning to major in Agriculture, Business, or Engineering at K-State in Fall 2017 - Espe-

cially students who identify as African American, Asian, Latino, Native American or multiracial.

What is Kompass?

Kompass is a free three-day extended orientation program August 6-9, 2017.

50 Kompass students will receive Guaranteed 4.0 training, participate in the KSU challenge

course, team building activities, workshops and business professional etiquette classes.

The program extends into the first academic year with mentors, professional development, and

academic monitoring.

Kompass students will be eligible for a $1,000 KAT scholarship for their freshman year after

completing the Guaranteed 4.0 training.

Why Apply?

Kompass is FREE for students. This program pays for summer expenses of room and board, tui-

tion, books, most meals, and some extracurricular activities. It is a GREAT experience!
