HOW IS A WEBSITE MADE?

HTML, which stands for HyperText Markup Language, is the predominant markup language for web pages

We use ‘PURE HTML CODING’. Right click on page-’View source’. Dreamweaver etc use ‘clunky code’. Google read the code, not the pages. Text should be text, not images.

WEBSITE CONTENT Make sure your content is unique –

your clients will often just copy and paste text from their competitors.

Check the text in the same way by copying and pasting to see if its been copied – or use the http://www.copyscape.com/ website.

Duplicate content will result in poor ranking.

WEBSITE STUFF Make sure you have a “Call to action”. Keep content fresh Don’t have out of date news etc Integrate your logo/branding Easy navigation Social media integration Imagery must be legal! Contact forms for data capture
