NEXT STEPS

The European Cluster Managers’ Club

Main objectives:

• Represent the interest of professional cluster managers

• Enable them to share their concerns with their peers

• Raise the recognition of cluster management as an attractive profession

• Promote continuous training of cluster managers

Excellence of cluster management is a priority

Targeted services:

• Facilitate the access to training schemes and other existing services for cluster managers

• Organise working groups • Promote the exchange of good practices• Promote the Quality Cluster Management Approach• Provide networking opportunities (events, journeys, …)

Membership:

• Any individual working in a cluster organisation in Europe• Fee for 2010 & 2011: 100€

Members, Fellows and GA

Members are individual Cluster ManagersFellowship is acquired by passing a label assessment or by giving evidence of substantial achievement in cluster managementGeneral Assembly is composed of all individual Cluster Managers members and fellows, each with one vote

General Assembly tasks include:• Election and discharge for the members of the Board of Directors • Approval of the Board of Director's work plan• Approval of budgets including the yearly membership fees• Approval of the accounts

Elected by the General Assembly among fellows only- At least 4 members including 1 Chairman - At least 1 person from each of the following four European Regions: North, South, East, West- First board is composed of Cluster Managers appointed by the Founding Committee.

Tasks of the BoD include:• Establishes the policy for strategic directions and bylaws changes• Accepts memberships and fellowships• Represents the Club with 3rd party organisations

Secretariat run by Europa InterCluster during “Incubation period” until September 2012.

Secretariat tasks include:• Execute the policy established by the Chairman, BoD and the General Assembly• Coordinate, implement actions in all administrative, marketing and financial matters of the Club• Act as communication and information centre of the Club
