Where do they come from

The Limbic system

Amygdala, Thalamus, Hippocampus

More than one system in the brain is responsible for emotional reactions.

Conscious & Unconscious Emotions

Emotions aren’t a feeling. You feel it when you are AWARE.

Emotional reaction is there but we might not be conscious of it.

With emotionally charged cues, people react accordingly to a situation.

Cognitive information contains emtional associations.

Brands & Emotions

Brands are coded in memory on a cognitive & emotional level.

emotional coding determines to what extent we pay attention.

Emotions and the feelings are not a luxury, they are a means of communicating our states of mind to others.

But they are also a way of guiding our own judgments and decisions. Emotions bring the body into the loop of reason.
