• Profile: She was adopted at birth by an older woman who was a gambler. Her ‘grandma’ lost the house they were staying when she was three. But she didn’t give up her studies.
• Today, her company sells water filters and treatment chemicals system.
• Vision: With only $20,000 capital, she started the company and it became the first water treatment company to be listed on Singapore Exchange.
• Success: In 2012, the company made revenues of S$680 million
