• According to Kim et al (2012) “today, across the country, approximately three-fourths of U.S. Schools provide students with either fully online or blended (Combination of on-and off-line) courses, with 69% of those students enrolled at the high school level (Picciano & Seaman, 2007)”(p. 4).
• These type programs are still considered to be in its “Nascent Stages”. This is interesting as the world becomes more technology driven and globally connected.
• A whopping 1.5 million students enrolled in charter schools throughout the United States in 2009 (Allen, Consoletti & Kerwin, 2009). This presents researchers and practitioners with a questions regarding the need for more relevant information, a rigorous yet stimulating curriculum, and a better design of public school systems.

• Does the educational offering as it stands fall short of the needs of current and future students? In reflection of the author’s findings, there is a strong correlation between student satisfaction and the quality and quantity of online interaction. This could explain why the field of study has not progressed beyond its infancy. There is surely opportunities for growth and the evolution of the educational system as we now know it.
• Society must invest in such endeavors. After all, the students effected by its findings and the implementation of change are our future. Thus, these educational platforms need to be reviewed, revised, or recreated to reflect a more innovative, interactive educational model that bridges knowledge with real world application. Does charter schools answer these questions or does it populate a new line of inquiry?

Would it spark creativity, innovativeness, and positive change? The possibilities could be endless. To succeed socially, economically, and environmentally, we must collectively yet productively change how we learn, interact, and measure growth and success.
Is there a magic formula or a perfect mode or model for education and distributing knowledge? No, but the more times we fail to implement programs or devise a educational system that is self sustaining, the closer we come to a viable solution. Society must resist the urge to pledge allegiance to the preconceived assumptions of what the world needs, who should get it, and how that commodity (i.e. knowledge), is received or given.

Can Global Education Really Be Achieved?Conceptually, education is open and available to anyone who wants it.
Reality, depicts a very different story. What is necessary to close the gaps in education and delivery of information to the masses? Is it uniformity
or innovativeness in the design of educational systems and curriculum?
What does the ‘Tree of Knowledge’ really represent?Some would argue that it depends on the individual interpreting or evaluating it. The Proverbial ‘Tree of Knowledge’ never said how that knowledge would be acquired or what methodology would be used to document or present it.
Ultimately, society and its inhabitants determines the source and distribution channel of knowledge presented in classrooms, whether it be brick and mortar or in some online capacity.
