Jacquelyn Bischak received a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in 1987 and has spent a large portion of her career working in advertising, most recently for Leo Burnett Co..  She began landscape painting in 1998 and considers it to be her transition from the world of advertising  back to the “world of Fine Art”.   Jacquelyn has recently pursued figurative painting, an area she has realized great satisfaction."I have always enjoyed figurative drawing, painting the figure has

been an amazing journey ... a whole new experience.  I will continue to focus on figurative painting; working to improve my technique so that I speak clearly, and simply capture moments of beauty, thought, and unity.  I hope to leave behind paintings that embody this present moment worthy of study”.

Jacquelyn's admires the work of Cecilia Beaux, American Impressionists T.C. Steele, John Sargent and contemporary artists Jeremy Lipking and Sherrie McGraw.  She is a friend to the California Art Club and the Smithsonian Art Institute.  Her distinctive figure studies and landscapes are in numerous private and corporate collections.  She has a growing list of Juried Exhibitions, Awards and Gallery Shows.
