EVERYTHING BEGINS IN THE MINDIn the Bible the mind is expressed in two

ways:

I. Heart: Greek – kardia a) that organ in the animal body which is the centre of the

circulation of the blood, and hence was regarded as the seat of physical life

b) denotes the centre of all physical and spiritual life 1) the vigor and sense of physical life 2) the centre and seat of spiritual life a) the soul or mind, as it is the fountain and seat of the thoughts,

passions, desires, appetites, affections, purposes, endeavors b) of the understanding, the faculty and seat of the intelligence c) of the will and character d) of the soul so far as it is affected and stirred in a bad way or

good, or of the soul as the seat of the sensibilities, affections, emotions, desires, appetites, passions

PEACE=WHOLENESS

HEALTHY MIND 3For though we walk in the flesh, we don't wage war

according to the flesh; 4for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 5throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ; 6and being in readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience will be made full. 2 Cor 10:3-6. List 5 things you can do to have a healthy mind.

HEALTHY BODY "Do you not know that your body is a

temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?  You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price.  Therefore honor God with your body," (1 Cor. 6:19-20). What can you do to have a healthy body?

SIMPLE STEPS TO HEALTHY EATING Cut carbs (Carbs make you fat not fat) Eat more fresh fruit and veggies daily Cut sodium Cut sugar (use Stevia or Coconut sugar) Increase fiber READ EVERY LABEL: Know what you are

putting in your mouth Use almond flour to bake and make

breads - it is low carb
