Eat right.

Genesis 1:29Then God said, "Look! I have given

you every seed-bearing plant throughout the earth and all the

fruit trees for your food.

What you eat is either healing you or killing you.

Genesis 7:2 Take with you seven pairs—male and female—of each animal I have approved for eating

and for sacrifice, and take one pair of each of the others.

Enjoy the food.

Ecclesiastes 2:24 So I decided there is nothing better than to enjoy food and drink

and to find satisfaction in work. Then I realized that these

pleasures are from the hand of God.

Examine the food.

Proverbs 23:2 If you are a big eater, put a knife to your

throat;

Proverbs 20:1 Wine produces mockers; alcohol leads to brawls. Those led astray by

drink cannot be wise.

Evaluate the entertainment

Psalm 119:37 Turn my eyes from worthless things, and give me life

Television viewing -- Children with TVs in their rooms or who watch

more than two hours a day are 50 percent more likely to be overweight.

God knows about your wounds

Psalms 6:6  I am worn out from sobbing. All night I flood my bed with weeping, drenching it with my tears.

Psalms 103:14 For he knows how weak we are; he remembers we are only dust.

God wants to heal His children

Exodus 15:26 He said, “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his sight, obeying his commands and keeping all his decrees, then I will not make you suffer any of the diseases I sent on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you.”

Psalms 30:2 O LORD my God, I cried to you for help, and you restored my health.

James 5:14 Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. 15

Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.

Heaven

Revelation 21:3 I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his

people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God

himself will be with them. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”

Revelation 22:1 Then the angel showed me a river with the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 It flowed down the center of the main

street. On each side of the river grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of

fruit,[a] with a fresh crop each month. The leaves were used for medicine to

heal the nations.

Revelation 22:3 No longer will there be a

curse upon anything. For the throne of God and of the Lamb will be there,

and his servants will worship him.
