Repeating the branches create surfaces.Repeating the surfaces create volume.

Model making material & tools:Balsa wood plane, white paper, pin, transparent stick tape, cutting knife, hot glue gun

Balsa wood: cut into sticks in different length, width (thickness remain) to make the branches of the system.Also used as plane or column to settle the arrangement of each system branches.

Pin:Used as hinged connection reinforce at the tip by hot glue

White paper:Cut in different width as strips +Transparent stick tape:Stick the paper pattern in between create the skin of the system

How does this respond to your personal space?

The folded form create a open volume that protect the personal space and also allow the body to move. When It is unfold, It will looks like wings. You can open up the wings to your family, friends and lover so you can get closer to them such as hugging.

How does this respond to your personal space?

This can also works as necklace when the system is folded. When you feel you need some personal space and doesn't want anyone to disturb you can extend it. It is designed to be asymmetric since most people has a strong hand that acts more.

How does this respond to your personal space?

This design has least interference during daily life as it acts like a vest when it is fold. When it is folded it avoids contact with upper body. When it is extended it covers head which avoids totally contact.
