Pawn & Co is the Steampunk Pawn Shop of the future where everything you see is for sale from the grand piano you see upon entry to the albino cyborg stuffed kangaroo watching over everyone next
to the carousel bar downstairs.
The décor is inspired by a steampunk aesthetic and is decked out with a range of features including Victorian tram booths, a cryogenic chamber, a talking vending machine and a steampunk throne, which
you can all place in your shopping basket if you please.
The bar has two levels. When you walk in you’re greeted with two options for ordering a drink. The first is the Carousel Bar, an automated carousel stocked with premium spirits that rotates above a human
bartender. The second is a talking vending machine from which you can order a can of beer while making small talk with a drink-dispensing robot.
At the top of the stairs there’s a room of curiosity, from dazzling pearls and guitars, to a full-size, custom-built replica of a Star Wars-style block of carbonite.
Conveniently located just off Chapel Street, this wonderful bar of the future is open and licensed until 5am on weekends and 3am on weekdays. It can cater for both smaller booth bookings and larger private
functions of up to 380 guests taking over the entire venue.
The cocktail menu treads the line between nostalgic and inventive. The Gunpowder Iced Tea, Pawn & Co’s signature cocktail, is a spin on the Long Island Iced Tea, with rum, chilli-infused peach tea and chocolate.
Feel free to have your smoking gun and drink it too!

The Main Bar is located on the first floor of Pawn & Co. and looks down directly onto Greville Street.
This area features a DJ booth and a state of the art sound system to keep your guests entertained.
The futuristic bar is home to the Organocktail which is our signature cocktail mixed by a church organ.
The space is surrounded by cabinets stocked with curated items which are all for sale as part of the Pawn Shop concept.
With plenty of stand up cocktail tables and stools for your guests, this is the ultimate in unique event spaces.

Located on the ground floor of Pawn & Co. this area features old Victorian tram booths and an area adjoining them which can be used for stand up cocktail tables and later in the night as a dance area for your guests. This intimate function area contains a fully stocked cocktail
bar and features a revolving spirit selection and our cyborg Kangaroo mascot. A semi-outdoor courtyard which looks onto Greville Street is in addition to the cocktail
bar and can be used as a smoking area for your guests.

A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking. Payment can be made via direct debit, credit card or cash.
The balance is to be paid before the day of the function. Credit card or cash accepted.
All functions will be invoiced as per final confirmation of guest numbers which the client is required to provide to the function coordinator a minimum of 7 days before the
event. Additional guests on the day will be charged on a pro rata basis.
The client is able to access the venue 1 hour prior to the event with previous arrangement.
For cancellations over 60 days the deposit will be refunded in full.
For cancellations within 60 days the deposit will be forfeited.
The venue reserves the right to cancel the booking if the deposit is not received within 7 days of invoice issue.
Security is included in all function bookings. The client is responsible to conduct the function in an orderly manner in compliance with Australian Law. The venue has the right to remove patrons which are behaving in a disorderly manner.
To personalise your function or event you are welcome to bring in decorations or theming. The decorations must not damage any surface of the venue. Confetti is not
permitted.
Pawn & Co. reserves the right to refuse the service of alcohol to anyone attending the event which is disorderly,
intoxicated or under the age of 18 years.
During the function, any damage that occurs in the venue as a result of the actions of the client or their guests is the
financial responsibility of the client.General cleaning is included in the cost of the event
however additional charges may apply if the event creates extra cleaning needs above this.
