Introduction: It’s always interesting to learn how to make new stuff easily, but it’s not always simple to figure a way to

do whatever you want to do on your own, that’s why we use step by step tutorials often nowadays.

Following the tutorials instructions is easy but we never think about the way these tutorials are formed.

We’re going to see today how to make a perfect step by step tutorial.

Quick and simple!

Material: All you need is a PC with Microsoft Word.

Steps:

1. Turn the first page into the cover of the tutorial.

Click on Insert, choose Cover Page and choose the cover you like.

2. Type in the document’s subject, your name and the date in the following order on the cover page.

3. Edit your cover the way you please by going to Format.

4. Insert any picture illustrating your theme by going to Insert then Picture.

5. Start with a little introduction on the subject you chose.

Choose the heading you want for the title of each page.

6. Mention the material you need to accomplish whatever you’re doing and post some pictures about

it.

7. Talk about the steps briefly illustrating each with an execution picture.

8. Organize your tutorial by numbering the pages.

Go to Insert, Page Number, choose where you want the numbers to occur.

Go to Format Page Numbers, click on Start At and choose 0 so the numbering won’t begin at the

cover page.

9. Complete your work with a table of content to show your work plan clearer.

Go to References, choose Table Of Contents and insert which ever table suits your work.

10. You can always end your tutorial with a sentence such as “Try It Yourself!” or such.
