4. Catastrophizing and reacting hysterically.

5. Seeing only one view.

. . . Negative Thinking!

Romans 12:2

And 2532 be 4964 0 not 3361 conformed 4964 to this 5129 world 165: but 235 be ye transformed

3339 by the renewing 342 of your 5216 mind 3563, that 1519 ye 5209 may prove 1381 what 5101 [is] that good 18, and 2532 acceptable 2101, and 2532 perfect 5046, will 2307 of God 2316.

3563 νοῦς means “the faculty and facility of thinking, feeling, understanding, and judging”

Psalm 51:10

Create 1254 in me a clean 2889 heart 3820, O God 430; and renew 2318 a

right 3559 spirit 7307 within 7130 me.

7307 ru-ach Cרּוַח also means “mind”

Distinguishing between brain and mind

John 14:26

Jesus said, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will

send in my name, HE WILL TEACH YOU ALL THINGS, and

bring to your remembrance all things that I have said to you.”

John 16:13

HE WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL TRUTH ...”

1 Corinthians 2:16

For 1063 who 5101 hath known 1097 the mind 3563 of the Lord 2962,

that 3739 he may instruct 4822 him 846? But 1161 we 2249 have 2192 the

mind 3563 of Christ 5547.

To what extent do we have the mind of Christ?

1. To the extent that we permit the mind of Christ access to our souls.

2. To the extent that we yield to the mind of Christ.

3. To the extent that we focus on the Will of God.

Romans 8:6

“For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace.”

Romans 8:7

“Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not

subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.”

Double-mindedness

Although we have access to two minds, we do not have to be

“double-minded.”

Double-mindedness?

“For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but [the spirit] of

power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

2 Timothy 1:7

2 Corinthians 10:5b

“TAKE CAPTIVE EVERY THOUGHT TO MAKE IT OBEDIENT TO CHRIST.”
