Lions are being killed with the pesticide Carbofuran in Kenya. WildlifeDirect and friends are seeking to have carbofuran banned in Kenya. Here's why.

The pesticide carbofuran is marketed under the trade name Furadan, by FMC Corporation

It control insects in a wide variety of crops

Carbofuran is one of the most toxic insecticides in the world.

A quarter teaspoon is fatal to humans.

It is deadly to fish, cats and birds.
