How To USE

In your browser, type https://evernote.com

This is how it looks like…

Click on ‘Get EVERNOTE’ to sign-up

EVERNOTE will download automatically…

If download does not start automatically…

Click here…

Wait for the download to finish…

When download is finished, you will see this…

Click on ‘RUN’…

It will show you the License Agreement

Check ‘I accept the License Agreement’

Then, click ‘INSTALL’

Setup Wizard will install EVERNOTE

After installation, click on FINISH

Next, you need to create an account…

In this screen, type your email…

Create a Username…

…and Password

Click ‘REGISTER’

There it is!

We’ve created our EVERNOTE account!

Now, let’s start creating notes…

…which we like to remember forEVER…

Click on ‘START’

Choose ‘ALL PROGRAMS’

Click on ‘EVERNOTE’

You will see this…

This is where you can type your note…

Type your title here…

And the body of your note here…

Here is an example…

Of a note for my vacation itinerary…

You can change the formatting of your

notes…

Here…

Or attach an image or an audio…

By clicking here…

Click here if you want to attach a file…

Or here if you want to attach an audio…

You may put tags or keywords to your note

So that it will be easier to search…

Type your keywords here…

Voila! We’ve just created our first note!

How is that possible?!

Because EVERNOTE automatically syncs your

account…

Across all your devices

At regular intervals

As long as EVERNOTE is running!

By default…

EVERNOTE syncs every 5 minutes

But if you want to change the frequency…

Go to ‘TOOLS’

Click on ‘OPTIONS’

Go to the ‘SYNC’ tab…

There is a drop-down menu…

Choose the frequency you prefer

Then, click ‘OK’

But if you want to immediately access a

note…

Which you created from another device…

You can just sync manually…

By clicking here…

EVERNOTE is now updated!

You can store just about anything in EVERNOTE

So it’s important…

To keep your notes organized

So that it will be easy…

To browse and remember…

All the notes you have kept…

One way is by creating notebooks

Let me show you how…

On the left side, right-click on ‘Notebooks’

Click ‘Create Notebook’

Type the name of your notebook here…

Check ‘Make this my default notebook’

Then click ‘OK’

All your notes will be saved in this folder.

Another way to organize your notes…

Is through Notebook Stack

This is used to group multiple notebooks…

Into one broad category

For example…

You want to organize your Recipe notes

Right-click the notebook you want to stack

Click ‘Add to stack’

Click ‘New stack’

It will now be under a Notebook Stack

Right-click on ‘Notebook Stack’

Click ‘RENAME’

Then, type your preferred name for the stack

You can also add existing notebooks to the stack…

Just drag and drop!

It will now look like this!

Another important function of

EVERNOTE…

Is sharing the information you stored with others

And oh, even memories!

It can be thru email…

…Social media…

…Even on the Web!

Even if the recipient does not have EVERNOTE!

Choose how you want to share your notes…

If you want to disable sharing…

Right-click the note in your Notes List

Click ‘Stop Sharing’
