• Reports very slow to come in

• 6/44 (13%)Chapters submitted ALL reports by deadlines and eligible for chapter award

Item C: Associate Members

• Request by Rhode Island to allow student (Associate members) to hold elected office, vote and serve on local committees at local chapter level

Chapter By-Laws:Rationale

• Significant disparity in allowing affiliate members( non-nurses) these privileges

• Need to allow all chapters the same opportunity, therefore requires change in sample chapter bylaws

• Consensus at this meeting

• Present to ANAC ANAC BOD in January

• If approved, changes will be made to Sample Chapter Bylaws

• Chapters will have the option to change their bylaws using the approved process.
