convention

❖ More than 3,000 hours of programming

from the worlds of science fiction, fantasy,

and gaming

❖ Over 400 actors, authors, creators, and

professionals

❖ Over 65,000 fans from around the world

❖ Fun for the whole family

What Happens At Dragon Con?

We invented the multi-genre pop culture convention

The Dragon Con Parade

Join Us! - Saturday at 10am every year

3,200 participants and 55 vehicles

Enjoyed by 75,000+ spectators

Since 2000, Atlanta’s largest parade each year

For The Fans, By The Fans

❖ Fans are the engine that drives Dragon Con.

❖ 2,200 volunteers plan, organize, and manage

programming.

❖ Volunteers also handle IT, logistics, and operations.

❖ A full-time, year-round staff of 11 supported by more than 100

volunteer directors.

Dragon Con is the largest fan run convention in the industry.

We help the Make-a-Wish Foundation grant wishes.

This year’s official charity is the Lymphoma Research Foundation
