About the Mentoring Program
The Wolf Pack Mentoring Program is a student development
collaborative effort between the ARCOS (Accelerate, Retain, Complete
with Opportunities and Support) STEM Program and the STEM Student
Association. The program adopts a hierarchical model where peer
mentors are supported and guided by faculty to maintain academic
excellence, while they in turn support first-year students with their
transition to college life. The Wolf Pack Mentoring program will offer
new students an opportunity to enhance their academic experience
through the assistance of a qualified second-year student peer mentor
with similar interest and career goals.
Mentee Program Benefits
Mentees will receive guidance and support in their next stage of life—college. Peer mentors who excelled
during their first year of college will provide valuable insight of college life, resources, and the many
opportunities available to their designated mentee. Benefits also include participation in social activities,
meeting new people, and gaining both social and academic confidence.

mentor, meet other new students, and learn about the ins and outs of college life
