EVALUATE by examining: The quality of the design. The purpose of the site. When it was last updated. If the author or host of the site is an expert or

trustworthy source of information.

Use Google to find a website first.

Use a Wikipedia article.

Open Directory Project - www.dmoz.org

World Book Encyclopedia Online - Website suggestions.

RESEARCH PLAN:

1. Search for a website on your topic

using your keywords.

2. Evaluate the website to decide if it is

trustworthy and useful.

3. Copy down its citation information.

4. Create a citation in MLA format.

5. Take notes!
