1st wave of feminism
it begun in the late 17th century.Aphra Behm is considered to be the firstpublished woman writer. Other works thatfollow with feminist ideas are as under

2nd wave of feminism came in 1960 – 70. it was
characterized by political movement for equality, suffrage and employment opportunities.
