Members gain professional skills and experience in emergency management operations. 4 Program Overview 5 What is FEMA? FEMA coordinates and manages the federal government's work before and after all domestic disasters. FEMA Corps began in 2012 as a partnership between FEMA and CNCS. Winter 2016 team leader application deadline: September 1st, Each campus reviews the applications, and individually reaches out to candidates for interviews. 24 Application and Selection Process 3. Candidates can interview and be offered a team leader position at any campus, with the potential for multiple offers at different campuses. 4.
