April by Dolores S.Everyone has probably heard thatApril showers bring May flowers. They really do!On a sunny morning in April theflowers seem to pop up overnight.Open your windows and you’ll seethat’s right. The bushes with flowers seem toshow their colors as if someonejust took a paintbrush and gaveeach flower a special touch.I know the one personallythat did this - It’s Jesus.Look at the color of allthe neighbors lawn. They look perfect. The sky is blue, the sun, moon seem to be brighter.I know the onewho planned this - It’s Jesus. The days are longer and theneighbors seem to be goingfor more walks inthe neighborhood.More people are smilingand laughing and have nicer thingsto say.Kids are friendlier and are playingoutside instead of staying inthe house instead of watching TV.They seem to be enjoyingthe fresh air.Let’s join them if we dare.Remember the good old days - kidsplaying ball; hopscotch, hide and go seek, jump rope andenjoying their friends.I know who put the joy intheir hearts,It’s Jesus. The air outside even smells fresher.Don’t say you haven’t noticed, don’t you dare.
Street lights stay lit a little bit longerso children can stay out at nightand play.Who made the sky bluer!I know who. It’s Jesus.Boys and girls are outside ridingtheir bikes up and downthe street.Their little legs going fast to seehow many of their friendsthey can beat.Roller skates are clasped on kidsshoes as they rolldown the street. It’s spring. Spring is in the air, warm weather is welcomeand I know all this is designed byour Maker. It’s Jesus.
