If you are interested in playing a vital role in your community, please submit a Committee Member Application to the BCA office!

We also ask that if you are currently a committee member and your term is up that you please fill out the application to renew com-mittee membership.

Harbour Pointe Guardrail Update

Autumn is fleeting and the leaves are falling. Living in Brandermill, the “Natural Place to Be,” residents find themselves with lots of leaves in their yard. While raking or blowing your leaves please keep in mind that BCA Open Spaces are not the place for

those leaves. We also ask that you do not blow your leaves in the street as it is illegal.

Part III of our General Covenants, Additional Restric-tions Affecting Open Space Areas, state 10: No dumping of trash, garbage, sewage, sawdust or any unsightly or offensive material shall be placed upon such Open Space Areas of Private Open Space Areas…

Also, the Common Property Use and Access Policy states: Open space will not be used for exclusive personal or private use, to store materials, park, construct or place improvements, modify or alter in any way, for private land-scaping or dumping, clearing or cutting trees and vegetation.

The Association will not host the leaf pick up program this year. Below is a list of companies that can assist with leaf removal. The BCA does not endorse these companies and we recommend that you verify the credentials of a company prior to hiring. If you have a company that you recommend please let the office know, 804-744-1035.

Leaf removal

BCA management has been in communication with Chesterfield County Officials and have been informed by VDOT that there is a plan of action in place for the replace-ment of the Harbour Pointe guardrail. We have been given a 7- to 10-day time frame for repair.

Please note, VDOT owns from the center of the road 25 feet out on either side. If there is a road issue, we en-courage residents to “Report a Road Problem” via their website; www.virginiadot.org or to call 800-367-7623 and file a report directly.
