In August, 2004, Alan Menter, MD founded the International Psoriasis Council, an international
organization comprised of nine Board Members, 74 Councilors (worldwide specialty
dermatologists), and other members dedicated to raising international consciousness and
understanding of psoriasis as a serious autoimmune disease with major quality-of-life implications.
Dr Menter served as President of the IPC from inception until December 2010.
