MOFA at Al-Janadriyah:
Since its first participation in the Janadriyah Festival, back in the 2004, the Saudi Ministry
of Foreign Affairs has always attracted the attention of the foreign and local visitors with
its various treasurable displays that aided them in witnessing the cultural and political
history of the Kingdom. This year the Ministry, with its 375msq pavilion, shared many of
its precious documentations, such as:
- A set of international agreements and treaties that have accompanied the Unification
of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- A set of old political passports including the passports belonging to the late King Faisal
bin Abdulaziz, the late King Fahad bin Abdulaziz, and the late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz
as well as the passports of senior state officials
- A set of the Ministry's official seals and stamps that were used also in treaties
concluded by the late King Abdulaziz himself before and after the Unification of the
Kingdom
- A set of rare portraits belonging to late Saudi Foreign Ministers
In addition, a special attention was reserved to the families and children visiting the
pavilion where special artistic workshop and gallery were dedicated to them.

Egypt: The Guest Country
Each year the festival welcomes a foreign country as an honor guest by embracing the distinctive social aspects of this country and introducing it to the visitors. The previous editions witnessed the participation of countries such as the UAE, China,
France and Germany. This edition, the Festival hosted Egypt and the Minister of
Culture Dr. Helmy El-Namnam attended the opening ceremony and visited his
country's 2500msq pavilion, which was divided into 20 sections, enriched with the
unique Egyptian artistic and cultural flavor.
