Field of Aqidah is the most important field ofknowledge because the honor of a field ofknowledge is based on the honor of the known

This field of knowledge informs people of their

Creator: It informs them of the path to Him It also informs them of the reward which Allah

SWT has prepared for them after following the

    path

    The benefits of the Quran

We send down (stage by stage) in the Qur'an that which isa healing and a mercy to those who believe: to the unjust itcauses nothing but loss after loss. Al-Israa (The Night Journey) 17: 82

whosoever follows My guidance, will not lose his way, nor fallinto misery .

"But whosoever turns awayfrom My Message, verily for himis a life narrowed down, and Weshall raise him up blind on theDay of Judgment ."

He will say: "O my Lord! whyhast thou raised me up blind,

while I had sight (before)?" (Allah) will say: "Thus didst

Logical arguments The Subjects of Aqidah include:

Knowledge of Allah SWT Knowledge of Allahs rights Knowledge of What Pleases Him and the

proper way to worship Him Knowledge of the reward prepared for

those who obey Him Knowledge of the punishment prepared for

    the ones who disobey Him

The Quran Is the word of Allah There is no one who knows about Allah more

than Allah SWT Himself There is no one who loves to be praised and is

entitled to the Praise other than Allah SWT

This explains why the Quran is the PrimarySource of understanding aqidah

The Sunnah Write your reasons for accepting the Sunnah as

the second most important source of Aqidah:

We have sent in every nation amessenger [to instruct them] to worship Allah alone and to avoid at-Taghut (i.e. every thing and everyone worshiped besides Allah while

accepting such worship or any onethat misleads and influences peopleto stray from Allahs path)

We did not send before you amessenger but We inspired him thatthere is no god except Me, so worship Me

The most essential principle of all prophetsdawah is tawhid

Shahadatain is the first instruction andinvitation a person should receive

The one who accepts it before puberty is not

required to affirm it or renew it after puberty After puberty, the Muslim should be required topractice salat, zakat, fasting and Hajj

The ruling on the one who practices some of therequirements of Islam without pronouncingShahadatain:

He is a Muslim even if he does not repeat theshahadatain

Tawhid is the first obligation and the last one There are three types of tawhid:

Asmaa and Sifat (names and attributes) Rububiyyah Uloohiyyah

  • 8/10/2019 Al-Aqidah..

    28/41

The most important of which is tawhid alulouhiyyah

Those who negated the Tawhid of Asmaa andSifat denied Allahs names and attributes

Their arguments lead to the denial of Allahs

existence The false claims of Allahs unity with Hiscreation, etc.

There is nothing like unto Him

(He is) the Creator of the heavens and theearth: He has made for you pairs fromamong yourselves, and pairs among cattle:

by this means does He multiply you: thereis nothing whatever like unto Him, and Heis the One that hears and sees (all things).

He creates without His being in needto do so and provides for Hiscreation without any effort. Bringing creation into existence did not add anything to His

attributes that was not already there. As He was, together withHis attributes, in pre-eternity, so He will remain throughoutendless time. It was not only after the act of creation that Hecould be described as the Creator nor was it only by the act oforigination that He could he described as the Originator. He

was always the Lord even when there was nothing to be Lord of,and always the Creator even when there was no creation. In thesame way that He is the Bringer to life of the dead, after He has

brought them to life a first time, and deserves this name before bringing them to life, so too He deserves the name of Creator before He has created them. This is because He has the powerto do everything, everything is dependent on Him, everything iseasy for Him, and He does not need anything.

He has always existed together withHis attributes since before creation
