TEXAS A&M AGRILIFE RESEARCH AND EXTENSION CENTER AT WESLACO April 8, 2015 MEMORANDUM TO: All District 12 Extension Agents SUBJECT: District 12 Spring Faculty Meeting Our Spring Faculty Meeting is scheduled for May 12-14, 2015 at South Padre Island. Our host property will be the KOA Campgrounds but we will have an option for those that prefer a hotel property for lodging. We have a block of cabins on hold and we need to know who will be staying at the KOA facility so we can hold the ones we need and release the rest. The agenda is attached for your reference and registration will begin at 1 pm on Tuesday, May 12 with the program scheduled to begin at 1:30 in the Commons Area. Registration will be through Conference Services and will provide you with three options as listed below. Registration – Due by Friday, May 1 Option 1: Registration only – will not lodge at KOA ($50) Option 2: Registration plus KOA lodging – Tuesday and Wednesday ($125) Option 3: Registration plus KOA lodging – Monday thru Wednesday ($150) - (for those who want to arrive early for 4-H conference planning) Registration includes meals and lodging for Options 2 & 3. Register through Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Conference Services (https://agriliferegister.tamu.edu/D12), will open Monday, April 13 through May 1. There will be no onsite registration. KOA Cabin Lodging – Register by Friday, April 17 If you choose options 2 or 3, your name should appear on the attached cabin assignments. These assignments are based on what Ronnie was able to work out during the Fashion Show. If your name is on the list and we don’t hear from you, we’ll assume everything is OK. If you want to make a change or have decided NOT to stay at KOA, you need to let us know by April 17. If your name doesn’t appear and you wish to stay at KOA, you need to add your name to the cabin list by Friday, April 17. We will release all cabins that are not needed on Monday, April 20. If your name isn’t on the list, we will assume you are staying at a hotel.
