About Toroko National Park

• This park is located in Hualian, the eastern part of Taiwan.• The measure of area is the second large of National Park of Taiwan. (yu shan is the first.)• It was established in 1986.• The park is spread over three counties: Hualian, Nantou, and Taichung Counties.• It encompasses 92,000 hectares.

From Taroko to Zhang Chun Ci (3.5km)

• Zhang chun ci is a shrine which in memory of those who die in his line of duty about excavated Zhongheng highway.

• Its exterior look is Chinese style. A beautiful shrine connects a small bridge.

• Three Bodhisattva (kindhearted person) were enshrined.

• The streams are worth a visit.

From Zhangchun Ci to Yanzi Kou (5km)

• There are many holes in the opposite mountain crag is a key feature of Yanzi kou.

• A position to enjoy the special rocks (called the chief of Indian) is be located next to a small store.

From Yanzi Kou to Jiuqu Dong (4.6km)

• Tourists can appreciate these views leisurely without cars.

• Its the longest tunnel in Zhong heng highway, the essence of Taroko gorges.

• This is almost the classroom of geology.

From Jiuqu Dong to Tianxiang (6.1km)

• Tianxiang is situated on the eastern part of Zhong heng highway.

• Setting a service counter in here to narrate.

• Guanyin. Tianfeng tower. Dizang Bodhisattva. Daxiong palace will let you be influence on pure Buddha.
